How we test claims without pretending every workflow is the same

The launch edition is documentation-led. It does not claim hands-on use where no controlled product test was completed.

Current evidence status

Every scored product is marked either Documentation verified or Vendor stated. We check official pricing, documentation, help content, and current vendor pages. We record the access model, billing unit, lead origin, key handoff fields, and the most important disqualifier.

Scenario 1: interactive inbound qualification

  1. Create a multi-step experience that asks role, company size, current process, challenge, urgency, and contact details.
  2. Apply branches, calculations, or scoring to produce a segment and recommended next action.
  3. Inspect whether answers, score, outcome, source, consent state, and activity persist on the contact record.
  4. Start a personalized multi-step email sequence and verify the conditions used for branches, waits, and exits.
  5. Measure time to first usable lead, missing context, and the number of external systems required.

Scenario 2: outbound or identified-account workflow

  1. Define a narrow ICP with region, role, company size, and industry.
  2. Source or identify a fixed sample, recording provider, timestamp, and verification state.
  3. Enrich the same required fields and document null rates and contradictions.
  4. Apply qualification rules, route to an owner, and inspect the exact handoff payload.
  5. Measure usable records, permitted-contact constraints, duplicates, and realistic credit or outcome cost.

What changes a published record

Material pricing, package, capability, availability, or evidence changes are logged in the changelog. A correction that affects the decision is dated on the affected page. Marketing claims do not silently become documentation-verified claims.
